Keighley fire fighters extinguished a burning motorbike and a car in two separate incidents early this morning.
They were first called out to Shann Lane to deal with the motorbike at 12.30am.
Watch commander Andy Quinn said the vehicle had been destroyed by the flames after being left abandoned on a grass verge. “We think it was a Honda, but it was so badly damaged it was hard to tell,” he said.
The Keighley crew responded again at 1.15am to tackle a burning Renault Megane, which was parked outside a house in Cashmere Street.
Watch commander Quinn said he could not confirm how this blaze had started. He said the car was gutted, and added that the fire crew remained at the scene for about half an hour.
