Monsters Stink was the title of the annual summer holiday club at Trinity Church and Exley Head Methodist Church.
Children explored their Christian faith through the ‘monsters’ they faced in their everyday lives.
These were identified as disobedience, bullying, getting lost and being alone.
The five to 11-year-olds took part in crafts, songs, games, challenges, videos, quizzes and prayers during the week.
Church spokesman Lynda Cotton said: “The Monster’s Stink theme was a huge success and lots of fun was had by all.”
