Heritage Day celebrations in Keighley later this month will give people an opportunity to learn more about some of the local history that surrounds them.
Keighley Town Council will be opening up parts of the town hall to visitors from 10am to 3pm on September 14.
Civic silver and mayoral robes will be on display in the Brigg Room, and there will be refreshments available.
Guests can also listen to talks in the main council chamber by local historian Ian Dewhirst and costume specialist Gillian Stapleton, along with free town tours on an open-topped bus.
As part of the same day, there will be a wide range of historical displays mounted in Keighley Shared Church and on the first floor of Keighley Library. People are welcome to drop in and view these from 10am onwards.
