Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was allegedly seen with an air rifle in Keighley.
Airedale and North Bradford CID would like to speak to anyone who has details about the incident, which occurred last Thursday in the Queen’s Road, Ingrow, area between 1.50pm and 2.30pm.
Officers were called to the area after a man was reported to have been seen in public with an air weapon and causing distress.
A police spokesman said: “A 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
“He was later charged with the offence. Anyone who has information is asked to contact Airedale and North Bradford CID on the 101 number.”
The man who has been charged lives in Keighley, and is due to appear at Bradford Crown Court on September 13.
