Dozens of youngsters and their parents were treated to a range of outdoor fun and games courtesy of Strong Close Nursery School and Children’s Centre.
They were invited to enjoy a teddy bears’ picnic in the grounds of East Riddlesden Hall. The event included face painting, a teddy bear hunt and teddy bear assault course.
Strong Close family and community services manager, Jenny Brown, said: “It went really well. There were about 80 people there, including lots of our regular families and also some families we hadn’t seen for a while.
“The feedback we had from them was lovely, and they want us to do this again. Everybody brought along their own picnic and, fortunately, the weather was fine.
“We’ve had teddy bears’ picnics at this venue before, and East Riddlesden Hall is brilliant about having us round, which makes all the difference.”
