Places of worship in Keighley will open their doors this month for the town’s second Faith Trail.
Keighley Interfaith Group is again organising the event to let townspeople learn more about major religions.
The first Faith Trail was held in March this year and attracted about 16 people.
The new trail, on September 28, begins at 1pm at Keighley Shared Church, and other buildings will open at half-hour intervals.
The Reverend Peter Mott, priest-in-charge at Keighley Shared Church, said: “It’s important for Keighley people to know what goes on in these buildings.”
The trail involves the Madina Mosque in Spencer Street (1.30pm), St Anne’s Roman Catholic Church in North Street (2pm), Jamia Markazi Mosque in Emily Street (2.30pm) and the Buddha Land Buddhist Centre in Lawkholme Crescent (3pm).
Refreshments will be served from 3.30pm in the Buddhist Centre’s World Peace Cafe.
