Members of a local authority that has taken over the management of allotments from Bradford Council have accepted a newly drawn-up tenancy agreement.
Haworth, Cross Roads and Stanbury Parish Council has taken responsibility for the plots at West Lane and Rawdon Road.
Councillor Alan Woodward, who has been handling the transfer, said priority for allotments would be given to people who live within the parish, to help reduce numbers on the waiting list.
Council chairman, Coun John Huxley, said: “I want to thank Coun Woodward for what he’s produced. He’s secured a very good result for the parish council, and has done it very professionally.
“He’s also got an agreement Bradford Council should share the cost of some of the remedial work on the allotments.”
