Co-operative Food is staging a series of skills workshops at its Silsden store.
Three sessions will be held for unemployed young people, covering topics such as interview techniques and creating CVs.
Participants, who will be referred through job centres, will also learn about careers within food retail. Around 30 people, aged 16 to 24, will be catered for.
Nationally, the Co-op is staging 270 workshops this month in support of a food and grocery industry campaign to tackle youth unemployment.
Steve Murrells, for the company, said: “More needs to be done to improve young people’s skills and boost their employability to help them make the most of the opportunities available and, ultimately, get them into work.”
