Free blood-pressure checks will be on offer in Keighley on Monday.
The session is being staged by Bradford District Care Trust’s men and boys’ health team, in conjunction with Barclays.
The checks will be on offer between 9am and 3pm in a room at the North Street bank.
Anyone aged over 18 can attend.
It coincides with a Blood Pressure UK national awareness week.
Merv Pemberton, the care trust’s community health-improvement practitioner, said: “We are urging people across Keighley to come and have their blood pressure checked.
“High blood pressure, or hypertension as it is also known, usually has no symptoms. One of the only ways for people to know if they have the condition is to have their blood pressure checked.
“The check doesn’t hurt and shouldn’t take too long. If someone does have a high reading, we can refer them to the right people and offer additional support and advice.”
