A fundraising walk around Silsden, in aid of the Manorlands hospice, is to be held for a second time.
Organisers from the town’s Punch Bowl pub are inviting everyone to join them for the 3.5km ramble on Sunday.
The first walk in 2011 – entitled Silsden For Manorlands – attracted 30 people and raised about £1,000. This year’s walk will begin at the edge of town, go along the canal towpath, and finish at the Punch Bowl.
The walk will again be supported by Silsden’s Co-operative Funeralcare, which will provide water and food.
Punch Bowl licensee David Smart asks people to contact him on (01535) 652360 so he knows how many people to cater for.
The entry fee is £3 per person.
