A Keighley woman has opened a fitness centre in a former dance studio in the town centre – where a former user was served with a noise abatement notice.
Sarah-Jane Fortune is offering classes in yoga, pilates, kettlebell and boxercise at Yoga-Wellbeing in East Parade.
There is also personal training, toning, meditation and support for people with back and shoulder injuries.
Sarah-Jane, 36, underwent training with the British Wheel of Yoga and the MA Wellness foundation after discovering yoga about 12 years ago.
She said: “We offer weight-loss programmes, nutrition solutions and a healthy lifestyle for body and mind.”
The first-floor facility on East Parade was for several decades home to the Pat Roberts School of Dance.
More recent user, the Irene Ogden School of Dance, was served with a noise abatement notice in 2011 after the hair and beauty salon below complained about disruption from tap dancers.
