Keighley smokers are being urged to stub out the habit as part of “Stoptober”.
The month-long stop-smoking campaign begins on October 1.
Public Health England figures show that 21.5 per cent of the district’s adult population are smokers.
Ralph Saunders, head of public health at Bradford Council, said people who smoked were putting their own and their families’ health at risk.
