A week to promote community spirit and raise cash for local charities is being staged by a Keighley bank branch.
Yorkshire Bank, in North Street, is inviting people to get involved in the initiative, which starts on Monday.
The itinerary will give residents and customers a chance to meet charity representatives from local groups, including Haworth Riding for the Disabled and Keighley Women’s Aid.
Branch manager Julie McEvoy and her employees will also be running a variety of competitions throughout the week to support the charities.
Julie said: “This week is a fantastic opportunity to promote the community we have here in Keighley and highlight some of the great things going on in the area.
“We hope Keighley residents come along and take part in the event and help to raise funds for some extremely worthwhile causes.”
Jacqui Atkinson, community support manager at Yorkshire Bank, added: “We actively encourage our employees to become involved in helping their local community.
“We are a customer-focused bank and are committed to serving and supporting the communities that we’re a part of.”
