A Keighley town centre optician’s is again backing a national campaign to encourage people to safeguard their eyesight.
National Eye Health Week began on Monday and Rayner, in the Airedale Shopping Centre, is giving out free recipes which researchers say are particularly good for protecting eyesight.
Rayner Opticians’ Keighley branch manager, Graham Dickson, said: “We’ve done this before and had good responses from the public. We do like to offer something a little different, and we’ve got a few new recipes this time round.
“People often take their eyesight for granted.
“Regular tests are always advisable, as they can also pick up conditions such as diabetes, glaucoma and cataracts.”
