A group of budding Andy Murrays from South Craven School sharpened up their tennis skills with special coaching sessions.
The 12 students spent two weeks earlier this summer learning with expert players at nearby Cross Hills Tennis Club.
The two-hour sessions, organised by geography teacher and keen tennis player Joel Griffiths, culminated in a tournament.
The students were presented with certificates when they returned to school after the summer break.
School spokesman Pauline Kennedy said: "They really enjoyed the coaching and I think they got a lot out of it. They also do tennis lessons at school."
