It’s the Great Stanbury Harvest Festival Bake off on Saturday, September 28 at St Gabriel’s Church, Stanbury, from 1-4pm. The Haworth & Oxenhope District Bridleways Group’s next monthly meeting is on Tuesday when the talk will be on winter feeding. Worth Valley Young Farmers this week met at the Three Acres pub in Crossroads for their annual public speaking competition. The senior members debated a variety of topics and the junior members made a two-minute speech in front of guest judge councillor Russell Brown. Prizes will be awarded at the club’s annual general meeting, which will be held at the Three Acres pub on Tuesday.
