The Ladies’ Circle’s first meeting of the autumn programme, a “Pamper Night”, which was very well attended, showed what local firms have to offer. Destinations, Body Fix, Serenity and Premier of Silsden and Body Shop at home all had tables and were kept busy chatting, giving advice, nail painting, hand massages and more. The Ladies’ Circle is now run by a joint committee and they have put together a varied and interesting programme. The meetings are monthly on a Tuesday evening at Silsden Methodist Church, 7.30pm. Refreshments are served. The next meeting is on Tuesday, October 8 and will be a flower arranging demonstration “Autumn Glory” by Anne Lyndsay. All welcome.
Silsden Camera Club’s annual exhibition will be held on Saturday at St James’ Church hall from 9.30am-noon. Admission which will include refreshments will be £1 and there will also be a raffle. All welcome.
The club’s first meeting of the new season was held recently with a good attendance and members invited to bring along their best mounted photo to discuss. For further information on either the club or the coffee morning, please ring (01535) 653528.
