The family of a Denholme teenager killed in a crash has this morning paid glowing tribute to her.
Jade Best, 19, was a back-seat passenger in a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution which went out-of-control and ploughed into a hairdressing salon in Thornton, Bradford, on Monday night.
The driver, dad-of-two Adam Ruthven, 27, also from Denholme, and a 32-year-old front-seat passenger, Daniel Haigh, of Thornton, also died in the collision.
In a statement issued today through West Yorkshire Police, Jade’s family said: “Jade was a happy go-lucky person and had a lovely outgoing personality that meant she embraced life to its fullest.
"She had recently been given the all-clear following a cancer diagnosis and had so much life left to live.
"We are devastated by her death and that she has been taken from us in such tragic circumstances.”
Inquests into the three deaths will be opened in Bradford on Monday.
