I am sending a photograph of a partly-albino starling taken in my garden on September 14.
It was sitting on my bird table with a large flock of starlings and appears quite healthy. Sometimes, they may be attacked by other birds.
What a wonderful quirk of nature, and I was privileged to get a picture of the bird. If you look closely, even his claws and beak are white.
I live up Braithwaite and I take many bird pictures, but this is the first time I have seen a white starling. Pat Jones Braithwaite Way, Keighley
