A 36-year-old man is being held behind bars to be sentenced next month for raping and sexually abusing a young girl.
Steven Banner, of Thwaites Brow Road in Keighley, pleaded guilty to 11 offences at Bradford Crown Court on Friday.
They included one offence of raping a girl under 13, between 2008 and 2013, three of sexually assaulting her and seven involving making and possession of indecent photos of a child.
The court was told Banner photographed himself abusing his victim.
Prosecutor Tom Storey said 35 child pornography images were recovered from Banner’s computer.
Judge John Potter adjourned the case until October 17 for the probation service to carry out an assessment of dangerousness.
He told Banner: “On any view, Steven Banner, you have just pleaded guilty to extremely serious offences, which will inevitably lead to you receiving a significant custodial sentence.”
Banner was remanded in custody.
