Hundreds of shoppers queued for the opening of Keighley’s new TK Maxx store.
Doors of the Keighley Retail Park outlet in Hard Ings Road were opened to the public last Thursday, with the first 500 customers each receiving a £10 gift card.
The opening of the fashion and homeware store, which covers 14,954 sq ft of floor space, has created 50 new jobs.
Store manager Chris Hodsman said: “After months of waiting, we are thrilled to be opening our new Keighley outlet.
“We’ve had a fantastic warm welcome from local shoppers, who’ve been enjoying big savings on all their favourite brands of homeware and fashion.”
Stephanie White, who was first in line in the queue on opening day, got to cut the ribbon at the store opening, and was presented with a bouquet of flowers by Mr Hodsman.
