A Keighley woman has set up a fitness centre in the dance studio where she took lessons as a young child.
Sarah-Jane Fortune has opened Yoga-Wellbeing in rooms used for several decades by the Pat Roberts School of Dance.
She attended lessons at the first-floor East Parade studio as a six-year-old with her then three-year-old sister, Lucy.
She decided the studio, which still had a dance floor and wall mirrors, was ideal for her new venture.
Sarah-Jane, 36, struck out on her own after working for several years at gyms in Keighley and Halifax.
Yoga-Wellbeing offers classes in yoga, pilates, toning, kettlebell, boxercise, meditation, weight-loss programmes and personal training, plus weekend beginner sessions.
Sarah-Jane said: “It’s called Yoga-Wellbeing because my busiest classes are yoga, and it’s my passion.
“It’s about doing something different. I looked at things people won’t necessarily be doing in other clubs.”
Sarah-Jane is also running a class for teenagers to help them become more active. Visit yoga-wellbeing.org for further information.
