A teachers’ strike is expected to cause major disruption to schools across the district tomorrow.
The NUT and NASUWT unions are holding the joint one-day strike across Yorkshire, the Midlands and eastern England in a row over changes to pensions.
More than 40 schools across the district have already announced full closures ahead of the strike, while dozens more will be partially closed.
The following Keighley-area schools will be fully closed tomorrow: Aire View Infants School, Cullingworth Village Primary School, Denholme Primary School, Eastburn Junior and Infant School, Holycroft Primary School, Ingrow Primary School, Keighley St Andrew’s CE Primary School, Long Lee Primary School, St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, Holy Family Catholic School and Worth Valley Primary School.
