Amended plans to demolish a row of shops at Main Street in Cross Hills and replace it with a mixed development have been given the go-ahead.
The proposed redevelopment of 19-25 Main Street now features the whole block, including offices occupied by Wilman and Wilman estate agents, Craven District Council’s planning committee was told.
Applicant London Property Investments Ltd will now redevelop the site with a block of five townhouses, two shops on the ground floor and eight apartments on the ground, first and second floors.
Parking for 17 cars will be provided at the back.
Councillors were told the new scheme, which replaced one approved in 2008, was superior and had received no objections.
Coun Ken Hart (Ind, Sutton) said it was the sixth and best application for the site.
