More than a dozen people enjoyed the latest installment of a walk to foster understanding between different faith communities.
They took part in the Keighley Interfaith Trail, which began at Keighley Shared Church and ended at the Kadampa Buddha Land Centre in Lawkholme Crescent.
In between these destinations, participants also visited the Shahjalal Mosque in Temple Row, St Anne’s Catholic Church in North Street and the Markazi Jamia Mosque in Emily Street. The event took place on Saturday and concluded with refreshments in the Buddhist centre.
Group chairman, the Reverend Peter Mott, said: “We had some new faces who haven’t been involved in the trail before.
“The theme for this year was about exploring the different types of symbolism used by each religion.”
Keighley Interfaith Group treasurer, John Cope, said: “It went well – we didn’t have huge numbers, but those who did come found it interesting and it was a pleasant afternoon. We were made very welcome at each location.”
