Farnhill Methodist Church’s Harvest Festival service last Sunday raised £88 for the Salvation Army in Keighley.
The Village Pump – the over-50s group, meets in the lower hall at Farnhill Methodist Church on Wednesday, 2pm-3.30pm.
The local history group is holding an exhibition at Kildwick and Farnhill Institute on what the villages were like in the past. The exhibition takes place this Saturday, 10am-4 pm. Admission is free and refreshments will be available. Anyone with old photographs, newspaper cuttings or other memorabilia are asked to bring them along.
The Kildwick and Farnhill calendar showing views of the two villages is now on sale at £5; £6 including an envelope, are available on Saturday morning in the Institute 11am–moon or at events in the Institute.
A slide show entitled “Magic Moments” will be given by Paul Haywood in the Kildwick and Farnhill Institute on Friday, October 11, at 7.30 pm. Admission is £5 including refreshments.
