Haworth’s West Lane Methodist congregation hosted a coffee morning for Macmillan Cancer Support last Friday in the communal lounge at Thornfield, Station Road. The event raised £222. This brought the total raised by the church since 2003 to £1,341. The event was attended by the Rev Ruth Crompton, the new minister, who is also superintendent of the Airedale Methodist circuit.

Haworth West Lane Baptist Amateur Operatic Society are rehearsing Gilbert and Sullivan’s Princess Ida to be performed at the Chapel from Monday, November 18 to Saturday, November 23 November at 7.15pm. with a matinee performance at 2.15pm on the last day.
