Morton WI secretary, Mrs Yvonne Todd, welcomed 27 members to the monthly meeting. The speaker was Mrs Teresa Clements, honorary secretary from the Wakefield and North of England Tulip Society. The next WI meeting will be on Tuesday at 7.20pm when it will be joined by fellow members from Laycock and Stanbury & District WI. Speaker will be the well-known costume historian Gillian Stapleton.
