Gwen Webster read from the Gospel and Sylvia Fox provided the music. Refreshments were served after service. During the service the children spent the time painting and drawing. The celebrant at the sung parish communion at St Barnabas’ Parish Church was the Rev Jonathan Pritchard. Readers were Ian Dodsworth, Margaret Anstey who also led the intercessions and Billy Clayton who also preached on working through our differences with the help of the Holy Spirit, Edna Huggett was the organist and Carl Pybus administered the chalice, Jonathan also led the family parade service at which the uniformed organisations presented their colours. The theme of the service was developed by stories. Songs and art work assisted by Helen Salt, music by Jill Dodsworth.
