St Stephen’s Ladies’ Fellowship enjoyed an interesting talk about the Children’s Air Ambulance at its April meeting. A retiring collection raised £124 for the charity.
On Sunday St Stephen’s held its annual parochial meeting. This was well attended, and Julie Lonsdale and Lynda Corser were elected to the deanery synod.
On Good Friday there will be a holiday club in St Stephen’s church hall, from 10am to noon, and at 2pm there will be a meditation in the church. Holy Communion will be celebrated on Easter Day at 10am.
The Good Friday service at Steeton Methodist Church at 7.30pm will be taken by Rev.Alan Raine.
Easter Sunday celebrations will be led by Rev Malcolm Sharrock at 10.30am when we will be Dressing the Cross with Flowers. There will be an Easter Day Sunrise Service at Farnhill Pinnacle at 7am on Sunday.
Steeton Methodist Church’s Wednesday evening fellowship will meet on April 23 at 7.30pm in the church foyer when Ann Drake will talk about Faberge. Everyone welcome.
