Thwaites Brow Brownies meet in St Barnabas’ Church Hall on Mondays from 6.15pm. To add names to the waiting list, contact Sue on 211837. Anglicans and Methodists joined together for united services on Maundy Thursday in Long Lee Chapel and on Good Friday in St Barnabas’ Church. The Rev Malcolm Foy was the celebrant at the said holy communion and read letters from the Archbishop of York and Bishop Nick Baines. The Rev Dr Jonathan Pritchard was celebrant at sung parish communion. Readers were Margaret, Audrey and Jonathan. The Rev Malcolm Foy preached on the significance of Easter and the chalice was administered by him. The Pastoral Candle was lit and there was an Easter Garden. Organist was Billy Clayton.
