Hospital chiefs have found a winning recipe to raise cash for the Emergency Department Appeal.

Executive board members staged a cake baking competition and tasting session, and raised more than £100.

Non-executive director, Sally Houghton, and director of business development, Ann Wagner, organised the event.

“We are all excited to be able to support the appeal, and it was a great excuse to eat cake during important board meetings!” said Ann.

People are being invited to organise their own coffee mornings, cake sales or baking competitions in aid of the campaign and send in photos and details of the amount raised.
