Hostelry regulars at Haworth Old Hall have helped raised £1,400 during the past 12 months in support of Manorlands.
A year of weekly quiz nights meant a cheque was handed over to Matthew Binns from Manorlands Hospice by David Whitehead at Haworth Old Hall’s annual presentation ceremony.
Mr Whitehead, assistant manager at the venue, said: “We’re delighted to host the weekly quizzes in aid of the Manorlands Hospice – it’s been great fun and a fantastic reason for the local community to get together and support a charity close to so many people’s hearts.
“The money raised will allow the team to continue their incredible work. We would like to thank the local community for their support, and hope they will continue to take part in our Thursday quiz nights, from 9.30pm, so we can raise even more.”
