Get sporty for A&E Appeal
Sports fans could net some cash for the appeal.
Members and supporters of clubs, covering everything from cycling and rugby to football and tennis, are being urged to help the campaign reach its goal.
An appeal spokesman said: “With the Grand Depart, rugby league Challenge Cup, football World Cup and Wimbledon all happening this summer, we are inviting people to choose a week and set themselves a ‘Get Sporty’ challenge – asking friends, colleagues and family to sponsor them.”
