Airedale Hospital’s dedicated fundraiser Bronagh Daly has bucket-loads of ideas to help people get their own ideas off the ground to help swell coffers.
An Emergency Department Appeal pack contains a list of 60 fun-filled fundraising suggestions, ranging from sponsored head-shaves to pop concerts.
Most of the ideas involve collecting sponsorship and cash donations.
Mrs Daly added there has been considerable demand for collection containers.
“We have had to order an extra 30 tins and buckets to deliver to local businesses and individuals, who are collecting on their premises or organising their own events in the next few weeks,” she said.
“It’s wonderful to receive calls from businesses wanting to collect donations from their customers. It shows the local community is getting behind the appeal, and we can’t thank them enough.”
