A YEAR-OLD baby and a two-year-old boy have been taken to hospital after yobs threw a firework into a Keighley house.
The youngsters were taken by ambulance to Airedale Hospital as a precaution following the incident, which happened shortly after 5pm today.
A man and another boy who were also in the house, in Cartmel Road, were uninjured.
The firework was hurled inside the terrace property when one of the family answered a knock at the door.
The yobs then ran off.
"When we arrived all the occupants were safely outside," said a Keighley fire service spokesman.
"There was some scorching to the floor in the house and there had been a bit of smoke but we didn't need to do anything."
Crews from Keighley and Bingley fire stations attended.
Police are investigating the incident.
