POLICE reopened Keighley Road three hours after yesterday’s accident between Silsden and Steeton.
The driver of a black BMW was taken to hospital after his car was in collision with an articulated lorry near the Silsden/Steeton roundabout.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police this morning said that the man’s injuries, described last night as “not life-threatening”, were minor.
The accident, soon after 3.30pm yesterday near the A629 Valley trunk road roundabout, caused traffic delays, including the temporary cancellation of Transdev’s Keighley-Ilkley bus services.
The road was reopened at 6.22pm.
