SANTA Claus is raising money for Manorlands this Christmas with his grotto in Keighley town centre.
Proceeds from the annual grotto in the Airedale shopping centre will this year be given to the Oxenhope hospice.
Santa settled down for the first time in his grotto last Sunday (November 23) during the switching on of Keighley’s Christmas lights.
There was a massive queue of children waiting to see their hero and tell them what presents they wanted for Christmas.
Manorlands fundraiser Andrew Wood was delighted that Airedale centre bosses had provided the grotto as part of their year of fundraising for the hospice.
He said: “They have done the grotto out nicely with lots of animatronic models, including reindeers."
Manorlands’ own volunteers will serve as elves in the grotto during the pre-Christmas season.
Santa will be in residence every Saturday and Sunday until Christmas, and also December 22, 23 and 24, each day from around 1#0am to 4.30pm.
the cost is £4 per child, which includes a photo opportunity and a gift.
