MANORLANDS is bowled over with a £750 donation.
The cheque has been handed over by Craven and District Cricket League.
Funds were raised with a match between Lancashire Craven and Yorkshire Craven – for the Yorkshire Plate – at Ingrow Cricket Club, in July.
And a raffle was held at a league dinner last month, with clubs making donations.
The cheque presentation took place at the Skipton premises of league sponsor, Mewies Solicitors.
Manorlands-based Sue Ryder senior fundraiser, Andrew Wood, thanked everyone for their support.
"These funds will be spent locally on caring for people with serious illness – both in the hospice at Oxenhope and in people's homes throughout the district via Sue Ryder's community nursing team," he added.
