A NATIVITY play penned by a top comedy writer will be performed by children at Keighley Shared Church on Sunday.
The Donkey, The Cow, The Sheep and The Camel was written by BBC TV and radio script writer James Cary, whose credits include award-winning sitcom Miranda.
"I linked-up with James through Facebook and last Christmas he kindly offered us his Nativity script but we heard about it too late – so we're doing it this year," said vicar Derek Walmsley.
"Everyone's welcome to come and watch."
The Nativity – which takes place during the morning service, at 10.45am – is being produced by Mark Rundle, son of the late Geoffrey Rundle, who wrote and performed with Keighley Amateurs for several decades.
