SANTA Claus is again raising money for Manorlands with his seasonal visits to a Denholme garden centre.
The bearded chap is in residence in his grotto at New Coley Nurseries every Saturday and Sunday before Christmas.
He decided to take his reindeer along last weekend as part of the Yuletide festivities at the nurseries on the A629 Halifax Road.
The grotto is open every Saturday and Sunday in December from 10am to 4pm.
In previous years New Coley’s fundraising for Manorlands has brought in around £1,600 a year.
New Coley Nurseries is also collecting toys and other gifts for children and the elderly, to be distributed by the Salvation Army and Low Fold Family Centre.
New items or pre-owned goods that are in good condition can be taken along unwrapped. Gifts for the elderly can include biscuits, hampers and woollens.
New Coley Nurseries last year received enough donations to provide a gift for every child in its list.
