A LADIES' night in Haworth raised £1,200 for Airedale Hospital's Haematology and Oncology Department. (HODU) The Hollywood Glamour-themed occasion was hosted by Gascoigne's Haworth Stream Brewery, in Main Street.
Organiser Kelly Gascoigne arranged the night with her friend Donna Ibbotson. Donna's mother, Vivienne Lamb, had been cared for at Airedale HODU before she died, and Kelly said her treatment there had been "fantastic".
The women attending the night were treated to a red-carpet arrival, complete with photographers and drinks served by members of the Full Bronte naked butlers group.
This was followed by a meal and also a fashion show staged by neighbouring business H & L Fashions.
Kelly added: "We had a raffle and auction with over 100 prizes donated by big business such as Manchester United as well as by local people whose generosity overwhelmed us.
"We held a mini awards ceremony with prizes offered for things like loudest of the night, best Hollywood actress impersonator, best behaved plus much more.
"The night was a huge success and the cause was certainly close to all our hearts."
