A HARDEN garden centre has built an Alpine village and market as part of its pre-Christmas attractions.
The ‘Snow Zone’ at the Woodbank Nurseries is in addition to the Santa Land grotto which was successfully introduced last year.
A spokesman for Woodbank said staff had been inspired by the popular Christmas grotto at the famous Bradford department store Busby’s, which closed many years ago.
A spokesman said: “The Woodbank team have been working tirelessly to expand their fabulous Christmas department and Santa Land Grotto to make this year more magical than ever.”
“Last year they were blessed with a visit from the remaining Busby family who wanted to see the magical displays and grotto filled with animated scenes of Santa’s workshop, elves, and Christmas characters.
The Snow Zone is an indoor Alpine village and market with Christmas displays built in chalet style units. There are also food and drink stalls and a licensed bar.
