CONONLEY Ladies Keep Fit Group may be keeping their bodies trim but their fundraising has ballooned.
They presented a £400 cheque to Manorlands to mark the proceeds of activities and events in the past year.
They said this was a substantial increase from the previous year’s total of £350.
The group have been fundraising for Manorlands since 2007 and have raised more than £2100.
Margot Fletcher, who runs the over 50s group, said each of the members made a small donation each week.
She said they had again chosen Manorlands as the beneficiary for the year.
Matthew Palmer, a fundraising assistant for Manorlands, accepted the cheque with huge thanks.
He said: “We are massively grateful to the ladies of the Cononley Ladies Keep Fit Group for their continuing support.
“This helps us to provide our services here at Manorlands and in the community. We hope they continue to support us even further into the future.”
