CHILDREN from Lees Primary School brought the spirit of Christmas to a Denholme garden centre.
The youngsters sang carols as people arrived at New Coley Nurseries for its Christmas extravaganza.
The weekend of seasonal entertainment has been held for the past three years at the nursery on Halifax Road to raise money for Manorlands.
New Coley bosses will hand over the money in the New Year when they have added the proceeds of their Santa Claus grotto.
A refreshments wagon alone raised £390 for Manorlands during the weekend earlier this month. Other attractions included real reindeer.
New Coley director Hilary Mayes said: “We raise money for Manorlands throughout the year, such as running a library and having Easter events.”
Santa’s grotto will be open this Saturday and Sunday (December 20/21) from 10am to 2pm. Admission is £3, with all proceeds going to Manorlands.
New Coley Nurseries has also been collecting Christmas toys and gifts for children and older people.
