A CROSS Hills-based financial services group has coined-in thousands of pounds for charity.
Mitchell Farrar has raised £8,500 during the year for different causes, through several events.
"As a group of companies we are proud to support a number of charities in the communities where we are located," said head of human resources, Denise Davies.
"Our social and charity committee works tirelessly throughout the year to find interesting and enjoyable things for colleagues to do to raise money.
"The challenge for 2015 will be to top this year's amazing figure."
Beneficiaries have included Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice, Manorlands.
Five employees took part in the Manorlands Keighley BigK 10k run, raising £400, and colleagues from Mitchell Farrar, Investor Compensation UK and Debt Advisory Line coined-in £200 through a Christmas hamper appeal.
A Sport Relief Day raised £450, a Yorkshire Three Peaks walk £2,286 for the British Heart Foundation, a Macmillan coffee morning over £500 and a Children in Need tuck shop more than £450.
And baking sales throughout the year cooked-up £400-plus for causes including the special care baby unit at Airedale Hospital.
