A CHARITY golf day swung into action to raise more than £2,000 for Manorlands.
Proceeds from the fourth annual event, at Ilkley Golf Club, were handed over by Dennis Horne and Kevin Bell, who were involved in staging the event, organised by Wyden Developments. The day also included a presentation dinner, raffle and auction.
Andrew Wood, Sue Ryder’s Keighley fundraiser, said: “Dennis, Kevin and the team put on another great day everyone thoroughly enjoyed.
“It’s fantastic so much was raised. Without the support of events such as this, we would be unable to continue to provide our care.”
Mr Horne thanked everyone who gave their support. He added: “Manorlands is a charity very close to my heart, and the compassionate care given by all the staff is outstanding.”
The next golf day is on May 22. Contact Mr Wood on 01535 640176 for further information.
