A WOMAN with a history of mental health issues drowned in the Leeds-Liverpool Canal, an inquest heard.
Veselinka Rawlinson, 57, of Halifax Road, Ingrow, Keighley, was pulled from the water by emergency services on October 12 last year but died the next day in Bradford Royal Infirmary.
Miss Rawlinson, who was on anti-depressants at the time of her death, was found lying face down in the water at Saltaire by passers-by shortly after 8pm.
The inquest in Bradford today was told the former model and hairdresser had previously been rescued from the canal at the same location on August 31 and October 5 last year.
Bradford Coroner Martin Fleming recorded a narrative conclusion saying he could not be satisfied Miss Rawlinson had intended to kill herself.
"No-one saw how she came to being in the canal," he said.
