THREE women from a Keighley gym have enjoyed success in national bodybuilding contests.
Brittany Rhodes won the National Amateur Body-Builders' Association first-timers toned figure class, while Fiona Stott took second place in the athletic category.
Both women, who were competing for the first time, have now been invited to the Novice Britain finals in Birmingham on November 22.
Meanwhile Emma Fryer was victorious in the National Physique Association first-time trained figure class and qualified for finals in Bedworth.
All three are members of NRGym.
Joint gym owner Nick Hindle said: "What's really humbling for us as a gym is that they had never trained with weights before.
"It's taken massive self-discipline to endure the 40-week gruelling training and strict diet regime.
"They have already created an uplift in females wanting to explore the benefits of weight training."
l Another bodybuilding star, Anna Millington-Downing, is jetting off to America to represent the UK in the sport's World Championships next month.
The former Keighley firefighter will be taking part with hundreds of other competitors at the championships in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
