GLUSBURN Primary School pupils raced to success in the finals of the North Yorkshire Primary Schools cross country competition.
The four youngsters took part in runs at Dalby Forest after progressing through several heats in recent months.
The quartet first represented their school at South Craven School, then represented the South Craven area at Giggleswick School, and on to represent the whole of Craven at the North Yorkshire finals.
Glusburn head Richard Hunt said: “We are pleased to have in school such fantastic runners, with all children finishing in the top.
“A particular special mention should go to Sam Benson who came first in the year six race, making him the fastest primary school pupil in North Yorkshire.”
Olivia Aldham came eighth out of 60 runners in the year four girls’ race while Sam Smith came eighth out of 71 runners in the year four boys’ race.
Addison Willis came fifth out of 71 runners in the year six boys’ race.
